This delicious video serves as our current pilot and showcases both Drew and James’ passionate personalities, as well as some of James’ favorite Low Calorie Lunches.
Check out our recent video in Kansas City as we host the largest tailgate in Arrowhead Stadium history. TGCC prepares our famous Blackout Brisket with Blackberry BBQ sauce.
Today is a very special day in America and we are proud to show our support for all of our service men and women, past and present, who do their part to protect the freedoms we hold so dear everyday in the United States of America. With that debt in our minds TGCC set out to create a meal which would make our service brothers and sisters proud. To do this we reached out to host James Spears’ little brother, Petty Officer 2nd Class Samuel Spears, who recommended we make a steak and potato dinner for returning service personnel. TGCC couldn’t agree more with Sam- every one of you outstanding American’s deserve a mouth-watering Made in America Porterhouse with our famous crispy baked potatoes smothered in bacon cheddar compound butter. We hope you enjoy this special feast created just for you and that someone can make this for you when you return home to the greatest country in the world… if not drop us a line and we’ll find a way to get you the meal you deserve!

More often than not when TGCC are attempting to come-up with new ideas we are simultaneously watching South Park. This also seems to carry over to our videos- an editing session with TGCC is about half cooking and half laughing at South Park quotes in the background of our films. So when the Crème Freche episode aired a few years ago our phones were ringing off the hook. As an amateur chef with a borderline obsession with Food Network I couldn’t have laughed harder, however I also realized the topic was obviously close to writer Trey Parker’s heart. After reading Trey was indeed a big food show fan and watching the documentary Six Days Till Air we formed an idea- why not make a meal for Trey Parker. Now that the Halloween episode saw a near-death Randy requesting his Trey’s favorite McDonald’s obsession- chicken nuggets, fries, sweet & sour sauce, and a High-C orange- we knew it was time to carpe diem.
If you'd like to try this meal yourself just follow the recipes on this site for Trey Parker's Super Swick Chicken Nuggets along with Homemade French Fries and then grab yourself some orange Hi-C.
Film is a big part of our lives at These Guys Can Cook and nobody tops our list like Quentin Tarantino. There is no disputing it, for our generation, Tarantino is the Sergio Leone of film. Better yet, he is the almost-pulp-reminiscent Poor Roby etched by Picasso; or even better still Tarantino is simply the Quentin F’N Tarantino of cool! In his honor and much to our pure admiration we created what we feel is the perfect Big Kahuna Burger. For those of you who don’t pay attention to the finer details of cinematography, Big Kahuna Burger is QT’s own creation, brought to life in numerous films, but made infamous in Pulp Fiction. But mainly, we created this burger because the anticipation of Django Unchained is just too damned much to bare…

With all that said, you can imagine our excitement when Django Unchained's official facebook page (and Quentin himself!!!!!) shared our Big Kahuna burger for all of their followers!
It was a big honor and we hope everyone gets a chance to make the Big Kahuna Burger! Until next time...

Our passion for cooking stems from the close relationships we have with our family, friends and neighbors with whom we share meals. We sincerely believe that anyone, guy or gal, is capable of preparing a breath-taking meal that will foster community and relationships for years to come.
These Guys Can Cook is brought to you by Pendergast Productions. Unlike others who simply put passion into their projects, we build projects around our passion.
Do you have an upcoming occasion that you could use the Guys’ advice with? Send us a description and some ideas and we'll see what we can do…
